Why Join the Americana Music Association?
With your Americana Music Association membership, you are supporting an organization that gives a voice to artists that might otherwise not be heard.
We are a professional not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to advocate for the authentic voice of American Roots Music around the world. We conduct an ongoing campaign to help brand and raise awareness of Americana via grassroots marketing, social media, and, best of all, word of mouth. We focus on efforts to enhance the general awareness of the Americana community, taking the form of projects that increase our visibility – all with the ultimate goal of connecting artists to an appreciative, discerning audience.
Membership Types
The Association offers two professional membership types: Artist/Musician/Songwriter and Industry.
With your membership you are eligible to:
• Participate in the Americana Honors & Awards and Board of Directors nominating and voting processes
• Connect with other members from around the world using our Member Directory to grow your contacts, book shows, find jobs, and ask for advice
• Attend our annual AMERICANAFEST at a discounted rate (conference passes only)
• Attend events and network with others who share your passion
• Utilize the Americana Tour Blueprint to discover an Americana-friendly support network for touring
• Access our educational How-To Guides, filled with advice and words of wisdom from industry experts and successful artists
• Enjoy exclusive benefits and discounts on the services you need and use most
We also offer a Donor membership for music fans who want to support the Association.
As a Donor member, you are eligible to:
• Attend our annual Festival & Conference at a discounted rate (conference passes only)
• Attend events and network with others who share your passion

Please note: If you are purchasing memberships for more than one person, please use a unique email address for each individual. Ballots for our annual Board of Directors and Honors & Awards elections are sent to each individual member email address. Each email address constitutes one vote.
