Nashville, February 10, 2010 -- The Americana Music Association is proud to announce that Court Yard Hounds - the highly-anticipated side project of Dixie Chicks members Emily Robison and Martie Maguire - will make their public concert premiere at the Americana Music Association’s annual SXSW showcase, presented by SESAC and the Utne Reader, on Thursday March 18, 2010 at historic Austin venue, Antone’s.
Court Yard Hounds will release an album of all new material on Columbia Records, on shelves May 4, 2010.
The Americana Music Association night at SXSW is one of the festivals sure-fire events. This year’s full lineup is:
